The NAVER DAN24 conference took place on 11–12 November 2024 at the COEX Grand Ballroom.

The first day began with CEO Choi Soo-yeon’s keynote, followed by presentations from leaders in search, maps, HyperCLOVA X, advertising and shopping. Recordings were uploaded progressively from December after the event. Here we review the changes and ambitions NAVER presented.

DAN24 Keynote 01: On-Service AI — From Search to Discovery and a Stronger Creator Ecosystem#

NAVER described how AI could improve search and discovery while strengthening its creator ecosystem. At the centre is On-Service AI, including AI Briefing to summarise results and connect content, alongside expanded personalised recommendations. Plans for blogs, Clips and other platforms include AI creation tools, additional revenue opportunities and stronger creator networking.
